• Dahn Yoga tip: Focus on Yourself

Without a goal, we have no choice but to endlessly chase after the thoughts of others. We envy those who know more or have more than we do, and we live out our lives completely forgetting our own brains. Such things happen to us often unless we are focused on ourselves. - Dahn Yoga

Heal Your Intestines with Meridian Exercise: Pressing the Palm

    By Michela | July 17, 2008

The condition of the pad of your hand can reflect your internal condition, even specific illnesses such as pneumonia or bronchitis or symptoms affecting the gastrointestinal tract. Since we all have gastrointestinal problems from time to time, I thought I would share an easy technique from the Meridian Exercise for Self-Healing book by Ilchi Lee that helps alleviate gastrointestinal symptoms.

Lung 10There is an acupressure point in the pad of the palm called Lu 10 (Lung 10 or Uh-jae in Korean). Pressing this point will help your internal organs and gastrointestinal tract.

To do this, place 4 fingers of your left hand on the pad of your right hand. Then curl the pad of your left hand around to the back of your right hand and squeeze. Press for several seconds and then release. Repeat this procedure several times for each hand.
