• Dahn Yoga tip: Focus on Yourself

Without a goal, we have no choice but to endlessly chase after the thoughts of others. We envy those who know more or have more than we do, and we live out our lives completely forgetting our own brains. Such things happen to us often unless we are focused on ourselves. - Dahn Yoga

    An Earnest Desire

    By Michela | July 9, 2008

Ilchi Lee, founder of Dahn Yoga and Brain Education, is known for his unshakable passion for sharing his awakenings with the world. Today, while I was flipping through the Dahn Yoga Basics book by Dahn Yoga Education, I read a quote by Ilchi Lee that gave me a little more insight into the source of his passion:

“Having cast my body into the Void on the flow of Ki, I fill the Void to the brim. With Ki circulating throughout my body, the Cosmic Mind enjoys me and I enjoy the mind of the cosmos. My heart overflows with harmony and I have an earnest desire to circulate that Mind throughout the world.”

This quote touches on the energy, mind, and feeling you can find when you go beyond and deeper than your everyday thoughts and preconceptions. We can all reach this state. The most notable Dahn Yoga exercises to do this are Brain Wave Vibration and Dahn-mu. Brain Wave Vibration has been touched on in this blog many times, but I will write about Dahn-mu in another post.
