• Dahn Yoga tip: Focus on Yourself

Without a goal, we have no choice but to endlessly chase after the thoughts of others. We envy those who know more or have more than we do, and we live out our lives completely forgetting our own brains. Such things happen to us often unless we are focused on ourselves. - Dahn Yoga

In Full Bloom Contest: A Celebration of Successful Aging

    By Michela | April 29, 2008

In Full Bloom CoverIt’s here! The creativity contest based on Ilchi Lee and Dr. Jessie Jones’s book In Full Bloom: A Brain Education Guide for Successful Aging. The submission period has started already: April 7, 2008 - May 23, 2008. But there is almost another month left. All of the details can be read at ilchi.com. Besides the fact that you will have an online audience with whom you can share your inspiration about successful aging, there are some really fun prizes. The grand prize is a Sedona Meditation Tour and includes board, lodging, and airfare for 4 days and 3 nights! The individual entry prizes are Dahn Yoga memberships, with the first prize being a 6-month membership! The group entries can win autographed copies of the upcoming Brain Wave Vibration book by Ilchi Lee, as well as CDs, T-shirts, etc. Submissions will be posted on ilchi.com and viewers will be able to vote for their favorites after the submission period. This is definitely an upgrade from the Human Technology creativity contest Healing Society did a couple of years ago, because I don’t think we ever really saw the entries (unless I just wasn’t aware of them at the time).

What is most exciting to me is that I get to manage the project and help make it big and beneficial to many. So check it out and let your creativity shine brightly!

If you don’t have the book but you want it, you will find a link to buy it in the book section of ilchi.com. (Purchase is not required for entry into the contest. You can always ask your local library to order it for you and borrow it from them as well.)
